We can see life from sidelines or participate. We can either let self-doubt stop us from realizing our potential or know that our potential is limitless.

What exactly are you capable of achieving? Is there a limit to how high you should aim?

The simple answer to these questions is that you are capable of achieving anything and everything you set your mind to. If you can think you can, you will.  All of us have heard the saying: “the sky is the limit.” This could be a motivational mantra in times of distress, but it has its own loopholes. It suggests that our potential has a limit when actually our potential is limitless.

What we know about potential is that it is all you can be, but have not become yet. It is all you can accomplish through your capabilities and abilities. The mind of man has unlimited potential to imagine and create. He has been making new discoveries since the time of evolution and creating new things every day. The functioning of our minds remains, a mystery even to modern-day science. Hence, we can’t deny man’s brain power and what it could create only if he sets its mind to it.

Therefore, it is rightly said “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” The most powerful and important asset is your mind. If your mind can accept that something is achievable, it can attain it too. Your possibilities are limited by your thinking. What may be a limit for a person is a piece of cake for the other.

You have the ability to become what you always aspired to. Your vision is limited only by you. Dig out your potential like an oil-digger. The oil is always there, waiting to be tapped. But if no one searched, it would have just remained there as a useless resource. Be all that you can be so that when you die, you have extracted every drop of your living being.

If you do not challenge yourself to grow, you’re wasting away something that could have created wonders for the humanity. Know that a mindset of fear strengthens the feeling. Talk to your internal self. Deeply understand your goal and then take necessary measures to achieve it. Look deep into your mindset. Have you accepted things because everyone else seems to accept them? Have you made society’s standards as your own?

As it’s rightly said, “Our fear is not that we are inadequate or less. Our fear is that we are powerful beyond the measure.”

Your limiting beliefs gives shape to everything you do, and every decision you make. It prevents you from grabbing opportunities and discourages you in life. But whatever people say about you, you need to break free from it. See yourself as the truly capable human being that you are. Bust Free!
